Bellflower Coconut Daily Moisture Cream

This moisturiser is designed to hydrate and soothe the skin using ingredients such as coconut oil, coconut extract, aloe vera extract, apricot kernel oil, and camellia japonica seed oil. 

My thoughts

The packaging is sleek and travel friendly, which I love. The texture is a luxurious cream, with a hint of coconut scent. It isn’t strong or overpowering and disappears after a minute or so. I prefer to use this at night after my retinol to provide a boost of hydration.  My skin is oily/combination, so I find it a little heavy during the day (especially in Summer). When I wake up, my skin is soothed, hydrated, plump and glowing.

Bellflower Tamanu Oil Barrier Relief Cream 

This moisturiser  is designed as a barrier repair cream, formulated with Tamanu Oil, Niacinamide, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Adenosine.

Tamanu oil is known as a healing ingredient as it contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The Rosa Moschata Seed Oil (also called Wild Rose Oil) contains linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated fatty acid that is easily absorbed by the skin, great for sensitive & dry skin. Adenosine helps protein synthesis and collagen synthesis in the dermis, It acts as a nourishing material.

My thoughts

The same sleek packaging, which matches the others in the range. This was my go to moisturiser when I initially introduced Tretinoin into my routine.  I was nervous that my skin would become dry and red, I made sure I applied this after tret. It helped to sooth, nourish and hydrate my skin.  Again it felt like a slightly heavier cream, so something I would only use at night. It prevented any redness and peelies from the retinol which I was grateful for.
