As we head towards 2020, I wanted to share some of my absolute favourite products of 2019. These have been products I have discovered throughout the year, if you follow my Instagram, you will have seen me mention these brands. In no particular order:

Oh my god!! This is now one of my ultimate favourites! I love love love this stuff! I use it every morning, it helps wake me up, soothe, cool, hydrate and de-puff my eyes! Genuine life saver for those dark, early and central heated mornings! The cream absorbs so easily, its light and hydrating. The roller ball is so cool, smooth and feels divine!

A. Florence Skincare Hydration Boosting Serum

Another brand I found on Instagram and it has cemented itself into my routine. I use their cleansers and serums too, but this is my fav. I use it morning & night to hydrate, plump and keep my skin from breaking out! Check our my full review HERE
Deviant skincare Cleansing Concentrate
“A decadent balm-to-milk cleanser that effortlessly removes makeup and daily impurities, without stripping the skin of its protective moisturising factors. This cleanser is formulated without any butter or heavy waxes (the only wax is polyglycerol-3 beeswax but it’s much thinner in viscosity than normal beeswax) and at a low %.
This balm is soothing, hydrating and doesn’t strip the skin. It seems to help heal my blemishes and soothe my skin. The texture is gorgeous, smooth and it emulsifies beautifully. The scent is a little nutty, gorgeous! I take the small one on my travels and the big one for home!

001 skincare Eyecicle

The wand instantly felt cool and soothing on my skin, it was actually surprising! The process helped with puffiness around my eyes, smoothed and plumped my skin. I can’t get over how cold and fabulous it made the skin around my eyes feel, an absolute treat! The effect lasted over an hour after use!

NYK1 Secrets Lash Force Serum

I had terrible lashes from a bad set of lash extensions and worried with my wedding coming up. I was debating whether to go with extensions for the big day or natural. I started using this serum 6-8 weeks before the big day and OMG I didn’t need extensions as my natural lashes were amazingly long! I applied this in the morning & evening every day to start with, but now only need to apply in the evening. Insane product, I didn’t believe the hype…but I couldn’t get over the results!

Paula’s Choice 1% Retinol Booster

This was recommended to me by @Roadtoglow on Instagram, we have similar skin types so decided to give it a go! I experienced zero irritation, redness or peeling with this retinol and I went straight in using it every day. It has improved my blemishes and I have less breakouts! I tend to add lots of hydration into my routine when using retinol, just to ensure a healthy skin barrier.

Skincity Skincare Foaming Cleanser
“Soft Foaming Cleanser is a soft, soothing facial cleanser that dissolves makeup and daily dirt without drying or irritating the skin. The silky cream is transformed into a rich foam upon contact with water and cleanses gently with coconut extract. Mango kernel oil ensures that the skin is moisturised, soft and supple. I was concerned by the term foaming, which can often mean stripping. I was so surprised by the texture. I’d say it has more of a creamy lather than a foam. It is sooo lovely to use and feels quite luxurious and pampering. I love the subtle scent. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth without feeling tight. Love this for a morning or second cleanse, I highly recommend.
Pixi Beauty DetoxifEYE Patches

It is no secret I am a fan of gel masks, so I was so excited when these arrived. These particular gels are another easy one to slot into any routine, perfect to soothe, hydrate and depuff the eye area. The pot includes a little spatula to help lift out each eye gel. I applied to clean skin in my morning or evening routine, the thickest part to the outer edge of my eye. I left for 10 mins then removed, patting in any excess. Once removed left my skin plumped, hydrated and soothed. I am not sure about reducing dark circles, but it really smoothed out fine dehydration lines with a noticeable difference. LOVE these!!!!

MAKE UP
Make The Make Niacinamide Primer
“This multi-functional formula contains tone-correcting Niacinamide, to care for the skin with every application, alongside smoothing Silica and glow-boosting light pink pearl pigments. Such a great primer, I have found myself reaching for it every day. The texture is creamy, smooth and thicker than some I have used. The cream melts beautifully into my skin, absorbing quickly, smoothing out pores and gives my skin a soft blurring effect.
It seems to boost hydration in my skin, adhere to foundation, no pilling, or make up slip and it gives a subtle glow. It really prepped my skin for the foundation, it didn’t make my skin any greasier throughout the day, but helped keep everything in place really well. The fact this contains niacinamide is also another plus since it is used in skincare to help visibly improve enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles and dullness.

This company is local to me, so I have worked my way through testing their different fragrances. They have some gorgeous ones, my favs have to be ‘Lovely’ and ‘Inspire’. This is such a special place for me, so naturally this candle company is too. I got engaged on the Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides and I spent some of my childhood visiting there. One of the most stunning places in the world that I’ve been lucky enough to visit. Their fragrances are insane and are all named after places on the Islands! My favs include Seilebost (black pomegranate) & Losgaintir (bergamot, coconut & vanilla). The also do diffusers, hand cream & shower gels yipee!!
