I was too excited to receive these products in the post as part of Marc Jacobs brand ambassador scheme! I’ve been wanted to try this brand for a while, but they are slightly more expensive, so I kept talking myself out of it.
What’s in the bag?
What a package to receive! A fab Marc Jacobs beauty T shirt, The O!mega shadow in Bravo O! Le Marc creme lipstick in Slow Burn and the Highliner in Brownie.
Highliner in ‘Brownie’ RRP £20
Firstly, this is a great colour, one I will use a lot! It goes on so smoothly, no tugging at the skin when you use it, it just glides on. The liner is waterproof and has some serious staying power, I had to make sure to use proper eye makeup remover to take off. Perfect to stop transfer and smudging throughout the day.
Le Marc lip creme in ‘Slow Burn’ RRP £27
The packaging is gorgeous & I love the way the lid is magnetic and snaps back on…so satisfying! The shade ‘Slow Burn’ is a gorgeous rose pink shade, so nice in the Summer. This lipstick is formulated with antioxidant-rich Seaberry and Cocoa Butter. I found it be long lasting, but not drying. It is even vanilla scented & flavoured…winner!
Eyeshadow – O!Mega Shadow in ‘Bravo O!’ RRP £22
Woweee do I love this eye shadow shade! A gorgeous gold/brown shimmery metallic gel powder eyeshadow. I love that it’s a gel powder, it’s highly pigmented yet light. It can really be built up to increase the intensity of the colour. The swatch doesn’t really do it justice! The little compact even comes with a mirror…cute!
My Initial Thoughts
Why haven’t I jumped on the Marc Jacobs band wagon sooner!? The quality in the packaging alone is stunning. I will definitely be heading over the the Marc Jacobs counter next time I go into town! They even have a lipstick called Georgie Girl…I need this!
