I have seen this mask all over instagram and I am already a huge follower of Marie Reynolds, her treatments and consultations. When this mask came out I was so eager to hear what people had to say.
What is it?
“It not only feeds the skin but supports imbalances within the epidermal flora. Restore™ balances the skin’s natural flora and fauna and has antibacterial, anti- inflammatory, rejuvenating and brightening results. Restore™ is fortified in Phytonutrients, also known as phytochemicals, which are chemicals produced by plants and are used to protect the skin from environmental toxicity among other factors. It also has been created with Probiotic Technology, including 8 strains of live bacteria culture that target a wide range of imbalances in the skin. Restore™ multi-strain formula works in more areas and provides better protection against a wider range of harmful bacteria, fungi, parasites, yeasts that may be present on the skin.
There are no artificial colors or preservatives so the product is completely natural, it is not tested on animals. Each application of restore™ provides the skin with five billion live bacteria cultures”.
How to use it?
This mask comes in powder form, so you mix one teaspoon of Restore™ with a small amount of water and blend to a smooth paste. I used a little mixing bowl and brush to keep the mess to a minimum. I then applied evenly all over my face and neck and left for 10-15 mins. The advice is to loosen the mask with wet hands and then massage the mask into the skin for a further minute, concentrating on areas of concern. I found this section a little messy, but then that’s probably just me, I’m a little clumsy with things! I finished by removing any left over mask with a warm cloth. This can be used twice weekly. You can even use this mask on your lips and eye lids! Bonus!

Initial Thoughts
The fact that is mask comes in powder form is genius! It’s perfect for travelling and means it won’t dry out. The smell was the first thing I noticed, a sort of cinnamon scent, it reminded me of gingerbread cookies!! Yummy! I found it easy to mix and create a sort of green sludge that I spread across my face. There was no stinging, tingling or any adverse reactions, it actually felt quite cooling and soothing on the skin. After 15mins I wet my hands and massaged my face, the sludge turned a bit thinner and meant the mask didn’t dry down on your face. There was no horrible scrubbing to remove the mask, like some I’ve tried.
I used a cloth to remove any remaining mask from my face and WOW! Instantly I could see my skin was brighter and looked more alive! I have NEVER come across a mask that has done this before. My skin is prone to break outs and using this twice a week has already helped my skin massively!! Remaining blemishes have healed, my breakouts have 80% cleared up and my skin looks more radiant. I am shocked at how good this mask is! I will continue to use and post some before and after pics for you to see!
