I have been struggling with my skin recently, mainly due to flare ups with intolerances in my diet.  I really needed something that would help my skin heal and prevent any further agitation. I came across this wash and noticed it contains Salicylic acid in the ingredients, this doesn’t seem to be something that many over the counter washes contain, so thought I would give it a try.

How do I use this?

The directions advise to use this wash twice a day. I add around one to two pumps of the wash to wet hands and massage into my skin.  It does froth up a little, but it isn’t a foaming wash. I then rinse using a face cloth and some warm water.

My thoughts

The wash has a nice subtle scent, quite fresh with a hint of citrus, which I enjoyed.  I felt when I used it, it left my skin clean and refreshed, without feeling stripped or tight.

The wash is oil free and non-comedogenic, which is great for me and my trouble-some skin type. It even claims to be gentle on the skin and suitable for sensitive skin types, which is even better.

I wouldn’t use this as a make up remover, I don’t think it works effectively in that way. I still use a micellar water to do this before washing my face. I really liked the texture of the wash, it is more of a gel which massages into a lather nicely.  A little goes a long way, you don’t need much to do your whole face.

I have been using this face wash for a few weeks now, both morning and night. I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin!  It only took a few days, but redness, inflammation from this particularly bad break out stint has vastly improved.  My skin has  healed quickly and it seems to have prevented too many further break outs from occurring.  Honestly I am seriously impressed!! I will continue use and definitely repurchase when this runs out!! I definite need to have when it comes to blemishes.
